The screen sizes of the iPhone 18 have been revealed Apple intends to maintain its leadership in the smartphone market with the upcoming launch of the iPhone 18 series. To ensure the presentation is a success, the company has already begun preparations for the release of the line. According to rumors, the iPhone 18 Pro models will feature Face ID under the display. In addition, two more surprises are expected — they will be announced later. Despite weak sales of the iPhone Air, which led Apple to reduce production volumes, rumors confirm that the second version of the iPhone Air may still be released.
Insider Digital Chat Station (known for reliable posts on Weibo) has revealed the display sizes of the four models expected this year. However, there is no mention of the iPhone Fold, which was supposed to be released alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Judging by the data, Apple is sticking to its original plan to introduce four flagship models of standard form. All devices in the line are expected to feature LTPO-OLED displays with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. At the same time, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are rumored to be the exclusive owners of Face ID under the display. According to information from Digital Chat Station, the following specifications have been determined at the prototype stage:
- iPhone 18: 6.27-inch LTPO display with 120 Hz and Dynamic Island;
- iPhone Air 2: 6.55-inch LTPO display with 120 Hz refresh rate and Dynamic Island;
- iPhone 18 Pro: 6.27-inch LTPO display with 120 Hz refresh rate and Face ID under the display;
- iPhone 18 Pro Max: 6.86-inch LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Face ID under the display.
It is worth noting that prototypes are currently being developed, and Apple may be testing other options. If the announced models do not meet the company's expectations, significant changes are possible this year.
