Role-playing game Gedonia 2 to receive update with new location and two-handed swords on January 14th
The creator of Gedonia 2 announced that on January 14th, the early access action RPG will receive a major update numbered 0.4. The main new feature will be the "Berkmer Gorge" location, which, as the name suggests, will be a new zone for levels 22-24. In it, players will choose the side of one of two factions and complete a quest chain that will affect the game world.
Two-handed swords will help deal with the new threats — a powerful weapon for fans of melee combat. Also, players who choose one of the available origin options for the main character will gain access to an exclusive storyline involving a mysterious stranger.
However, version 0.4 will not be limited to this: Gedonia 2 will be supplemented with new items, crafting recipes, and more. According to lead developer Oleg Kazakov, the upcoming Gedonia 2 update will be the largest compared to previous versions.
Gedonia 2 was released in early access in April 2025. The sequel to the original Gedonia has earned very positive user reviews, praising the non-linearity in completing various quests. In the future, the developers will continue to update the game within the early access framework.
