The Remothered series: Tormented Fathers and Broken Porcelain will conclude with the game Red Nun's Legacy

A new horror game Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy has been announced — it follows Remothered: Tormented Fathers and Remothered: Broken Porcelain, and is slated to close the trilogy (or so the press blurb says).

The plot centres on Susan, a mother fraying at the edges, hunting for her missing daughter. Her search drags her into an empty Ashmann manor and into the ruined monastery where the Red Nun legend first took shape; expect old records, locked rooms, and fragments of a past people would rather forget.

Developers claim the game will appeal both to newcomers and to those who stuck with the series. The feel is classic third-person survival horror with stealth and psychological tension woven in; the team also talks up new systems — e.g., perception-based effects, hypnosis sequences, environmental manipulation, among other things — that are meant to change how you approach encounters.

The project is being made by Stormind Games with Soft Source Publishing involved. Release is expected this year, on PC (Win), PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series (XSX/S) and Nintendo Switch 2 (NSw2). Russian text localization is confirmed. Whether everything lands as promised? Time will tell.
