Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen Team Showcases New Tropical Location
The development team, in their progress update blog, presented a brief overview of a new location in Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen.
The new tropical and underwater area, named Badia de Cara, appears to be dedicated to the Caribbean islands and South American culture in general, with the name itself meaning "Bay of the Face." At its center is Kosa Ull, a large central island that will serve as the hub for the region, although the blog mentions there will be other islands "scattered across the water's surface" for players to explore.
As with many other regions and peoples in Pantheon, the team states that each zone will have "its own history, legends, and inhabitants to encounter."
The Pantheon developers seem keen to showcase several underwater attractions that players can dive into. While the landscape is not yet finalized, preliminary images show small trenches and good old-fashioned rocks, as well as concept art of a giant predatory fish that may attack players.
At the end of the blog, it is stated that Badia de Cara is planned for release in the spring, alongside an update to the combat and progression systems, the goals of which were previously outlined in a large series of blog posts.
