A few months after launch, the devs at Obsidian pushed a set of patches and performance tweaks — enough that the title can now claim full compatibility with Valve’s handheld.
The Outer Worlds 2 is now officially supported on Steam Deck. From now on, players can explore Arcadia and influence its fate wherever they are. The Earth Directorate thanks you for your time and support.
Practically speaking, that should reduce the number of fiddly settings you need to change for a playable session on Deck — though, as always, individual setups and updates can alter the result (so, YMMV).
Meanwhile, chatter about story DLC is ongoing; folks are waiting for official dates. The rumor mill also mentions a possible Switch 2 port, but the devs haven’t said anything concrete yet.
The Outer Worlds 2 is available on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store, Battle.net), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series, and it’s in Game Pass Ultimate. Russian text localization is included.
