Sega has updated the arcade racing game Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds with additional content. Players can now race as the lemur Tangle and the wolf Whisper, popular characters from the Sonic comics. Furthermore, a themed festival for the duo is starting very soon, running from February 26th to March 1st. As usual, various challenges, rewards, and the disabling of the "World Match" online mode are expected, along with a 50% chance to activate a double points reward.
Earlier this month, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds also received an update and a festival based on Super Monkey Ball. The arcade racer itself is available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch, and its sales have exceeded 1 million copies.
It is worth noting that this year marks the 35th anniversary of the Sonic the Hedgehog series, and fans are hoping for the announcement of a new game.
