New "Mortal Kombat 2" Trailer Showcases Spectacular Fight Montage in Outworld
After a prolonged silence, fans of Mortal Kombat have finally been treated to a fresh trailer for Simon McQuoid's upcoming film adaptation. And it must be said, it looks quite impressive—the video features all the key characters and snippets of battles.
Recall that the 2021 film was criticized by many for the absence of a tournament and sometimes lackluster fights set in backwater locations. The sequel promises Outworld, familiar arenas, and much more.
The premiere of "Mortal Kombat 2" is scheduled for May 8th. The main roles in the film are played by Karl Urban, Tati Gabrielle, Martyn Ford, Hiroyuki Sanada, Lewis Tan, Jessica McNamee, and others. Summer preview screenings were a hit, but thanks to them, the entire plot of the film leaked online.
