The music didnt play for long the bully online mod was killed a month after its release

Last month, YouTuber SWEGTA and his team released Bully Online, an ambitious mod for Bully that adds a full-fledged multiplayer mode to the game. As is often the case with modifications for Rockstar games, the project was quickly shut down, so now the enthusiasts' creation is officially dead.

The reasons for its demise have not been disclosed, but it can be assumed that Take-Two's lawyers were involved. The situation was probably exacerbated by the fact that the initial version of the mod was only available to those who supported the authors on Ko-Fi.

Meanwhile, the team has posted a brief message on Discord:

Bully Online is closing down for good. This means that within 24 hours, unfortunately, the following will happen: our official Bully Online server will be shut down, script development will cease, and the source code will be deleted, as will all of our project-related web pages, launcher, and account data. SWEGTA himself promised to reveal the details in an upcoming video. For now, he has only assured the disappointed players that this happened against his will.
