Nintendo Unveils New Trailer for "Super Mario Galaxy: The Movie"
As promised, Nintendo employees held a brief Direct today, entirely dedicated to the upcoming animated film "Super Mario Galaxy: The Movie." During the 5-minute presentation, the company showcased a new trailer.
The video shows brothers Mario and Luigi entering dark ruins to deal with a terrifying monster, but instead of the creature, they stumble upon the friendly little dinosaur Yoshi.
Currently, the film's production is nearly complete. The creators at Illumination only need to finalize the sound design and music.
Recall that the directors are once again Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, with the screenplay by Matthew Fogel.
In the new trailer, the creators also announced a change in the release date. The theatrical release of "Super Mario Galaxy: The Movie" will now begin on April 1st, not the 3rd as previously planned.
