The "Harry Potter" series will be released in early 2027
HBO CEO Casey Bloys has finally clarified the premiere timeline for the "Harry Potter" series. The show will launch in early 2027. Previously, the studio had only specified the year of release, but now Bloys has narrowed the timeframe, noting that the premiere is scheduled for the first quarter. However, the exact month—January, February, or March—has not yet been announced.
The first season will consist of eight episodes. Filming is already actively underway, and photos from the set periodically surface online: actors portraying the Dursleys, the Weasleys, Dumbledore, Hagrid, the Flamels, as well as shots of the Hogwarts Express and some students, including Draco Malfoy and the Quidditch coach.
