The "Games To Be" Demo Festival Kicks Off on Steam

Steam has launched the February "Games To Be" festival, giving players access to hundreds of demos of upcoming projects. The event will run until March 2nd at 21:00 Moscow time, during which users can try out new titles across a wide variety of genres.

Among the featured demos are the open-world pirate action game Windrose, the dark Diablo-like action RPG Darkhaven, and the cyberpunk thriller Replaced set in an alternate 1980s America.

Fans of tactical combat will be interested in Fate Trigger—a hero shooter with anime characters—while horror enthusiasts can look forward to the Lovecraftian thriller Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss and Parasite Mutant, inspired by the cult classic Parasite Eve.

For fans of classic universes, there's the shooter Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War! based on the "Starship Troopers" film and the space strategy game with roguelike elements, Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes.

Also on the program are the hunting simulator Way of the Hunter 2, the stylish anime action game MIGHTREYA, and the action RPG Blades of Fire set in a dark fantasy world from the studio MercurySteam.

Particularly noteworthy are the spy-themed narrative RPG ZERO PARADES: For Dead Spies, the cooperative zombie action game John Carpenter's Toxic Commando, the medieval adventure 1348 Ex Voto, the cozy survival simulator Outbound, and the dynamic frog-themed platformer CROAK.
