Cooperative zombie shooter The Midnight Walkers launched in early access: the game has server issues
Early access for the cooperative shooter The Midnight Walkers set in a zombie apocalypse has started on Steam. There is a 20% discount on the game until February 11, but its rating is currently only 58% — players complain about optimization and server performance. The developers promise to improve the project based on feedback.
The early access includes the core mechanics and the Liberty Grand Center location. The game is a first-person extraction shooter. Players explore a multi-story complex, fight zombies and other survivors, collect loot, and try to evacuate. A successful escape allows for gear upgrades, while death results in losing all loot.
The gameplay is complicated by a system of poisonous gas that randomly overtakes floors, forcing players to change routes and increasing the chance of encounters with other players.
