The Flop Horror "Return to Silent Hill" Released on Streaming

Viewers who have already had a chance to evaluate the film have given it 3.5 out of 5 stars on Kinopoisk.
The film was disliked by both viewers and critics. It was called a "laughable adaptation," criticized for poor acting and a terrible plot. The film was officially shown in Russia, and domestic fans of the series were also left dissatisfied.
"Return to Silent Hill" had the worst opening box office in the history of the entire franchise, earning less than half of what "Silent Hill 2" did.
Following the failure of his latest work, director Christophe Gans stated that he no longer wants to work on films based on the video game series. However, Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka admitted that he would not mind collaborating with Gans on a film adaptation of Silent Hill 4: The Room. Gans himself is also a fan of this installment.
