According to analysts at TrendForce, the global memory market will demonstrate explosive growth in 2025. Revenue from DRAM sales (including HBM memory) could reach $404.3 billion, an increase of 144% compared to last year's $165.7 billion. For comparison, the NAND flash memory market will show growth from $69.7 billion to $147.3 billion. It is forecasted that this year's total revenue will grow by 134%, while next year it will increase by another 53% on top of that.
The main driver of demand remains the server segment, linked to the development of artificial intelligence. This is leading to unprecedented price increases: in the current quarter, DRAM prices could rise by more than 60%, and for some products, they could double. A similar situation is unfolding with NAND memory for SSD drives, whose prices are rising by 55–60% per quarter.
In 2026, growth rates are predicted to slow down but remain significant. DRAM revenue is expected to increase by 65%, reaching $667 billion, while NAND revenue is expected to grow by 19%, to $175.7 billion. The combined growth of the market for the two memory types will be 53%.
