The Elder Scrolls Online Developers Show New Mounts Available for Gold
As previously announced in the Update 49 and Season Zero overview, with the release of the base game update on March 9, numerous mounts will become available for purchase with gold in The Elder Scrolls Online. The development team has provided a new preview of some of the options you will be able to acquire, as well as how to obtain them, since the mounts will be available in places where you would expect to find them.
New stablemasters and stables themselves will appear in various corners of Tamriel. For example, the Shadowghost Guar is nocturnal, which is a unique trait of this breed. They are rare and represent a unique mount. You will be able to purchase such a guar at the stables in Stonefalls, Shadowfen, and Murkmire.
Similarly, the new developer blog showcases examples of a number of mounts and the planned stables where you can find them.
- The Snow Bear will be located at the stables in Wrothgar and The Reach.
- The Senche-Puma will be in Reaper's March.
- The Yorgrim River Ram will be found at the stables in Eastmarch, The Rift, and Stormhaven.
The blog also reveals more information about the Hammerfell Camel, the spotted Senche-Raht from Dunefer, and the Frost Durzog Mangler, as well as where to find them, before introducing an exclusive mount pet that will be added to the game — the Ebony Dwarven Horse.
Joining these new mounts available for gold will be a brand new one arriving with Update 49. This is also a mount whose stable location has not yet been revealed.
With the update, players will have access to 17 different mounts.
