The developers of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 are preparing an anniversary broadcast on the franchise projects
Ten years have passed since the first The Division — and Massive Entertainment is putting together a fairly big anniversary stream. Expect details about the upcoming anniversary season for The Division 2 and some news on the future of the game, plus updates on The Division Resurgence.
The live broadcast will air on March 3 on the official The Division Twitch channel. Start time: 20:00 MSK.
What they promise: a closer look at The Division 2’s anniversary season. It’s a limited run — four weeks only — with exclusive content (Realism Mode appears on the list), new gear, and other little surprises tucked in along the way.
There’ll also be a segment about year eight plans: updates on the Survivors project and a few upcoming tweaks and features. The team says there are a couple of unexpected announcements, so don’t assume you’ve seen everything already.
A separate block will focus on The Division Resurgence. Fresh gameplay will be shown, some key news explained, and instructions on how to claim the anniversary-only rewards will be laid out.
Viewers of the broadcast will have the opportunity to earn special Twitch drops:
- watching for 30 min will unlock an Anniversary Cache;
- watching for 1 hr will grant the Decade Arm Patch;
- watching for 2 hrs will give another Anniversary Cache;
- watching for 3 hrs will reward the Phoenix weapon skin;
- watching for 4 hrs will allow you to get the Fay Lau trophy backpack.
