Developers of Once Human Showcase Three New Unusual Monsters for Players to Challenge

For those who enjoyed the giant, bizarre hybrid enemies that visually set Once Human apart from other projects, it seems Starry Studio is adding a few more to keep the game interesting and unique. A new blog post introduced three new enemies, and they appear to be coming to the game in the next update.

The first is a huge "biomechanical" creature named the Devourer, found in the Workshop. It is composed of several subway cars, with the passageways serving as joints, and is considered a peaceful being, showing no interest in ordinary animals or humans with low levels of Stardust. Except for rare instances of intrusion into stations and conflicts arising from disrupting its feeding, there are no records of this creature actively harming humans.

Next is the Hoarder, made up of numerous mannequin parts, a shopping cart, and other store goods. As the name suggests, it uses the shopping cart to collect not only items from around the world but also those dropped by players, all of which end up in a nest of three to five Hoarders. If you decide to attack these monsters or their goods, they will start attacking you with their elongated limbs until you defeat them and take their loot.

Finally, this update will introduce the Somniwore—a giant, staggering, gel-like creature with magnetic parts inside. Its jelly-like state allows it to detect sound waves, which it follows before attempting to absorb the source, often the players themselves.
