Code Vein II Developers Showcase Core Game Elements in Overview Trailer
A couple of weeks before the release of Code Vein II, developers from Bandai Namco have prepared another trailer. This time, the creators released an overview video dedicated to a brief demonstration of the game's core elements—from the character creator to weapons and abilities.
The sequel's events will unfold in two time periods simultaneously—the apocalyptic present and the past, where the main character will travel to find allies and uncover the root cause of the catastrophe that turned the Revenants into bloodthirsty monsters. Diverse companions play a significant role in battles, their fates directly dependent on the decisions made by the players.
The key focus, however, is on the combat system, which has become even more robust compared to the first game. This is reflected not only in the amount of equipment but also in additional techniques.
Code Vein II will be released on January 30th for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series with Russian text localization, and on January 23rd, the developers will release the character creator as a demo version.
