Project: Gorgon MMORPG Releases Today
The fantasy MMORPG Project: Gorgon is launching under a buy-to-play model with an optional VIP subscription. Existing characters will be preserved, but for those wishing to start fresh, a separate, brand-new server will open next week.
Conceived as a spiritual successor to Asheron's Call, the game emphasizes player freedom and agency. It features a classless progression system based on skills. You can develop any of the 21 combat, 96 crafting and general, as well as 13 transformation skills, freely combining them to create a unique playstyle.
The main addition in the release version is the capital city of Steel Domes — the largest and most complex location, which will serve as a hub for high-level players. It includes over 200 quests, the ability to level skills beyond 100, over 750 storage slots, as well as new systems and exclusive content.
Existing players will need to recreate their character's appearance in the updated editor, as new models have been introduced. A detailed description of all changes, new systems, and improvements is available on the project's Steam page.
