Dark Action-RPG Unawake Gets a Fresh Trailer
Studio RealityArts has unveiled a new gameplay trailer for Unawake — an action-RPG that plunges players into a dark fantasy world. According to the plot, humanity is on the brink of extinction due to a devastating war between angels, and it is within this ominous setting that the protagonist must act.
The game combines dynamic first-person melee combat with a deep storyline. Players will not only fend off hordes of demons but also explore diverse lands, gradually uncovering the world's secrets. As they progress, they can develop their character, hone skills, and shape a unique playstyle — tailoring it to their own preferences and tactics.
The weapon arsenal impresses with its variety: from classic swords and shields to formidable axes and war hammers. Moreover, each weapon can be modified — players can enhance it with elemental effects and various bonuses that can drastically alter the course of battles. The game boasts over 20 skills in total, allowing for the creation of an individual combat strategy.
The project is being developed on Unreal Engine 5. The developers are actively utilizing modern technologies to achieve a high level of realism: motion capture, NVIDIA Audio2Face (for convincing character facial animation), and DLSS 3 (for enhanced graphics and performance optimization).
Despite the game being known since at least 2022, its exact release date has not yet been announced.
