The creators of Resident Evil Requiem gave Leon a hatchet and allowed Grace to collect the blood of her enemies Cover: screenshot from Resident Evil Requiem As part of the recent presentation of Resident Evil Requiem, Capcom showed lots of new gameplay footage and revealed more information about different play styles.
For example, Leon, who is promised to be more action-oriented, now carries a hatchet. He can use it to parry enemy attacks. But the hatchet gets dull, so he has to sharpen it, sometimes right in the middle of combat. Leon can also pick up some of his enemies' weapons, including a chainsaw.
Meanwhile, Grace, who is more into stealth and moderate action, collects enemy blood for crafting. The video showed the creation of a medicine that prevents corpses from mutating. And on the classic difficulty level (Standard: Classic), Grace will use ink ribbons to save the game.
Capcom also shared more screenshots of Resident Evil Requiem. The game will be released on February 27 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2 with Russian voice acting. 24 photos
