The cast of *The Devil Wears Prada* is ready to star in the third installment

The sequel to “The Devil Wears Prada” showed up only twenty yrs later, and already the cast says they’re ready to play if a third film ever happens.

Both Emily Blunt and Meryl Streep made it clear that, first off, the script has to hold up. Emily and Anne Hathaway also want the original main four to return; Streep quipped, "they must be alive," a dry nod to that long gap between installments.

The comedy earned $233.6 million worldwide on its opening wknd — good enough for the second-best start this year, behind “Super Mario” at about $372.5M.

Will a trilogy happen? Stranger things have. Fans (and the actors) seem game; the rest is Hollywood roulette.
