BetBoom Team Counter-Strike 2 Captain Discusses Roster Rebuild
Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov from BetBoom Team in Counter-Strike 2 discussed the team's condition and recent performances. The player hinted that the roster is undergoing a "global rebuild." On social media, Mikhailov wrote:
"W_e won a LAN tournament in Kazakhstan, which is definitely a reason to be happy because those are the coveted VRS points that are so crucial right now… If we talk about our overall game at the moment, we are in a kind of global rebuild. Artem [Fierce] is bringing in a lot of new things, structure, what to focus on…"
In conclusion, the player apologized for past losses and thanked the fans for their support. He also analyzed the latest performance and stated that the team still needs time to adapt.

Previously, BetBoom Team defeated HOTU in the MySkill Pro League 1 final. The tournament took place in Kazakhstan from January 27-28. Eight teams competed for a prize pool of $6,000.
By the end of January, the team had indeed undergone a series of changes:
- On January 6, 2026, the roster's coach changed. Fierce, who previously worked with 9Pandas, took over the position from RAiLWAY.
- IEM Rio 2026 Qualifiers: At the end of the month, the team participated in the closed qualifiers for the major tournament in Rio. They defeated GenOne (2:1) and Ursa (2:0) but lost to the HOTU squad (0:2).
- It was later revealed that the team did not receive a direct invitation to the IEM Kraków 2026 tournament.
- In early January, the team performed successfully at META Cup Season 3, securing a series of wins (including against Winners Esports and the same HOTU).
- World Ranking: As of January 21, 2026, the team holds the 29th position according to HLTV/GGScore data.
The team's analyst, Damir "dmrr" Abulkasimov, commented:
"Overall, the championship gave us a big rating boost — plus 80 points. We are currently top-17 in Europe. Of course, a lot can still change in two months, but this is already good. We need to keep up the standard. Most likely, a lot will be decided at the LAN in April for the MRKVC, but hopefully, that won't be the case and we will simply come to secure our slot, not fight for it."
CIS Lan 4 will take place from April 2-5. After that, invitations for the IEM Cologne Major will be sent out based on the VRS ranking.
