The best graphics cards in the NVIDIA RTX 50 series are no longer being produced at all Against the backdrop of the ongoing memory chip crisis, NVIDIA has decided to review its strategy for releasing its mid-range and top-of-the-line graphics cards. According to recent insider information, production of the most profitable graphics cards in the RTX 50 series, namely the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB, has been completely shut down. Instead, the company plans to focus its resources on the release of more affordable (in terms of memory chip consumption) models with 8 GB of VRAM, such as the base RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB, as well as the much more expensive RTX 5080 and RTX 5090, which can be sold at huge markups. As a result, it turns out that (if the insiders are right) NVIDIA has removed the most profitable graphics cards in terms of price-performance ratio from its lineup and plans to continue selling either solutions with a meager amount of video memory or solutions with sufficient VRAM, but at a completely indecent price for a tiny performance gain (in the case of the RTX 5080).
