"Super Mario: Galactic Movie" hits theaters on April 1st, but for now, watch the new trailer with Yoshi
Nintendo and Illumination have given fans a great gift by releasing a new trailer for the upcoming film, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. The highlight of the video was the "first look" at one of the franchise's most anticipated characters—the dinosaur Yoshi.
Mario and Luigi find Yoshi in a mysterious cave. Judging by the footage, the initially timid dinosaur quickly becomes an integral part of the team. Besides Yoshi, the trailer also featured Birdo (who not-so-friendly shoots eggs at Peach), Mouser, and Lakitu.
Nintendo has officially confirmed that the film's global premiere has been moved to an earlier date. The animated movie will now hit theaters on April 1, 2026, which is a couple of days earlier than the previous release date.
