Territory Mode gets most of the attention this time. New gear and lab-grown tech from Ghutana show up on the field — e.g., chemical agents and radiation guns — and there’s a stranger edge: experimental bio-tools that let players tamper with arachnid behavior, sometimes flipping them against one another (a bit unsettling, honestly).
Expect a new planet with distinctive terrain, seven fresh squads for your roster, and four new arachnid enemy types to encounter. Territory Mode also gains ten additional maps, alongside extra technologies and a batch of new combat missions — nothing too formal here, just more content to play through.
