Sony Unveils Hyperpop Collection for PlayStation 5: Brightness and Gradients in the World of Gaming Accessories

Sony has announced a new collection of accessories for the PlayStation 5 called Hyperpop. The lineup includes console panels and DualSense controllers that stand out with striking gradient designs—an uncommon approach among modern gaming devices.

The collection comes in three color options: Techno Red, Remix Green, and Rhythm Blue. Each model showcases a smooth transition from black at the top to a vibrant shade—red, green, or blue at the bottom. This effect is particularly striking when the PS5 console is mounted vertically.

Compared to the traditional black and white accessories that dominate the market, the Hyperpop collection looks noticeably brighter and more original, allowing gamers to highlight the individuality of their gaming system.

The console panels are priced at $75, while the Hyperpop DualSense controllers will be sold for $85—$10 more than the standard version. Although the price is above the usual level, many players might find the gradient design a worthy reason to spend extra if they want to add brightness and a unique style to their gaming space.

The collection is set to release on March 12, 2026. Pre-orders will start on January 16, 2026, with accessories available through select retailers and the official PlayStation store.
