Mega Crit has unveiled a new animated trailer for Slay the Spire 2 and announced its early access release date. The game will become available on Steam on March 5, 2026.
The two-minute trailer showcases, for the first time, a key new feature of the sequel: a four-player cooperative mode.
The original Slay the Spire was released in 2019 and became a cult classic in the deck-building roguelike genre. The release of the sequel was initially planned for late 2025 but was postponed. Now, only a few weeks remain until the early access launch.
