Sequel to the action movie “The Beekeeper” gets a release date
The film company Amazon MGM Studios has announced the release date for the sequel to the popular action movie “The Beekeeper.” Audiences will be able to see the sequel in American theaters on January 15, 2027.
Jason Statham will return to the lead role in the new installment. His co-stars on set will once again include Jeremy Irons and Pom Klementieff, as well as several other actors whose names have not yet been disclosed.
The original film, released in 2024, was directed by David Ayer, known for the film “Suicide Squad.” The plot centers on a former operative who decides to take revenge for the murder of his neighbor. The movie showed solid box office results, earning $162 million worldwide.
The sequel will be directed by Timo Tjahjanto, who previously worked on the film “Nobody 2.” Although plot details of the second installment are being kept under wraps, fans expect the sequel to maintain the dynamic style and tense atmosphere of the first film.
