Embark Studios rolled out a big rework to the weekly Trials in the shooter ARC Raiders. FYI, the overhaul goes live on April 29 — the day after the Riven Tides patch arrives. Trials will no longer pause during profile resets, so you can keep levelling without interruption. The devs removed double points for harsh weather and unlinked tasks from specific anomalies; in short, progress is less gated by environment and you can tackle objectives with different playstyles (stealth vs. run-and-gun, for example). Season 4 brings new task types focused on melee and gadget use, e.g., objectives that ask you to employ tools instead of only firing weapons. The headline reward is the Recon dive suit, with parts unlocking as you climb from Tryhard I up to legendary — some players will race for it, others will take their time.
