Resident Evil Requiem Author Responds to Question About Ada Wong or Claire Redfield Appearing in the Game
The authors of Resident Evil Requiem are once again being grilled for spoilers about the possible appearance of familiar characters in the game. Leon "yesterday's news" Kennedy, whose return was confirmed at the recent The Game Awards 2025, is passing the baton to Ada Wong and Claire Redfield (among others). A Deadline journalist put in a good word for the ladies in a preview. But, as expected, you can't just crack the developer open. However, Nakanishi emphasized the team's efforts and highlighted story content that fans are sure to love. Furthermore, he admitted that he too is interested in the relationship between Leon and Ada.
"I know many fans are interested in all of this. We all want to know. I am also very interested in the personal relationship between Leon and Ada. However, I cannot comment on either. But I will say that we have put a lot of work into Requiem, incorporating stories and other elements that fans will enjoy."
Meanwhile, many Resident Evil fans are looking forward to Resident Evil Requiem, which releases on February 27 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2 with Russian voiceover.
