Pokémon fans are once again dusting off their wishlists: a new Pokémon Presents presentation is scheduled for February 27th, timed to coincide with the franchise's 30th anniversary. The Pokémon Company promises a special edition dedicated to three decades of catching, battling, and trading beloved pocket monsters.
Recent presentations have left fans with mixed feelings, but an anniversary is the perfect occasion for a truly surprising reveal. It's been three years since the release of Scarlet and Violet, so many are anticipating the announcement of the next generation of games. News regarding Pokémon Unite, Masters EX, Sleep, GO, and other regularly updated projects is also traditionally expected.
The main surprise is already known: immediately following the presentation, a port of Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen for the Switch will go on sale.
