Amazon has shared the first promotional still from the upcoming series based on God of War. It features Ryan Hurst and Callum Vinson, who will play Kratos and Atreus, respectively. In the image, Kratos watches his son hunt. The looks of both characters are as close to the original source as possible. We can only hope the acting will be up to par as well.

Amazon has announced that filming for the adaptation has already begun, but a premiere date for the project has not yet been set. According to showrunner Ronald D. Moore, the streaming service has ordered two seasons of God of War right away.
