Path of Exile Developers Revealed and Showcased Exclusive Rewards in the "Mirage" League
A new video about the upcoming ARPG league Path of Exile — called "Mirage" — outlines how players can unlock a group of exclusive rewards by tackling special challenges.
There are 40 challenges overall. Hit milestone counts (e.g., 12, 20, 28, 36) to claim pieces of the Regal Sphere set: boots, gloves, body armor, and helmet. Progress also peels back portions of a decorative "Mirage" totem for your hideout as you go.
Hardcore (HC) players get a sped-up track: cosmetic items arrive after completing only 2, 4, 6, and 8 challenges.
Grinding Gear Games says it heard feedback from the community. For the next league they intend to swap the single-set approach for four distinct cosmetics; going forward, the studio plans to alternate formats — one league centered on a full armor set, the next offering a variety of rewards.
