On February 5, Sid Meier's Civilization VII will be available on Apple devices
Developers at Firaxis Games continue to expand the list of target platforms for Sid Meier’s Civilization VII. Today, they announced that on February 5, the game will appear on Apple Arcade and become available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
The new version offers an adapted interface with full support for touch controls. Controller and keyboard support is also available. However, gamers should be aware of some significant drawbacks — the upcoming port will not include any DLC. In addition, the launch version will not feature multiplayer. As for free updates, their launch in the Arcade version may be delayed or canceled altogether. Another notable limitation concerns the gameplay. Due to optimization issues, "large" and "huge" maps will only be available on devices with at least 8 GB of RAM.
Sid Meier's Civilization VII is currently available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, Quest 3, and Quest 3S with full Russian localization. The rating in the Valve store is "mixed" — 48% based on more than 50,000 reviews.
