NVIDIA updated RTX Remix: Game Logic for Mods

Nvidia updated rtx remix game logic for mods

NVIDIA unveiled an update for RTX Remix, set to release at the end of the month. Its key feature is a logic system for linking graphical effects to game events without programming. Previously, this required game code access.

Now modders can dynamically change graphics using hundreds of RTX Remix settings in over 165 games. For example, weather can be activated only in open areas.

The tool uses a node interface and supports over 30 types of events: camera position, time of day, key presses, and more. In Half-Life 2 RTX, this allows changing lighting when a door opens or activating night vision when aiming. You can also create gameplay mechanics, like screen distortion during threats.

The update includes a new menu design with interface settings.

The new version of RTX Remix will be available for download in January 2026.
