According to recent reports from TechPowerUp and insider MEGAsizeGPU, NVIDIA has notified its partners about a 15–20% reduction in GPU shipments as part of a strategy to address the global shortage of video memory and shift priorities toward the AI sector. NVIDIA also stated that production of the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB has not been canceled.
Insiders claim NVIDIA has abandoned plans to release new consumer graphics cards until 2027, meaning the anticipated RTX 50 SUPER series will most likely not appear this year (either canceled or postponed indefinitely), with the RTX 60 series expected by the end of 2027.
