Netflix has completed filming of the new film adaptation of "The Chronicles of Narnia" series
According to the publication NarniaWeb, filming of the new film adaptation of The Chronicles of Narnia for Netflix has been completed. Production began on August 9 and took about six months.
The film adapts C.S. Lewis's novel The Magician's Nephew, which tells the story of the creation of the world of Narnia. Part of the action, according to released materials from the set, takes place in 1950s Britain.
The cast includes actors Emma Mackey, Carey Mulligan, Daniel Craig, David McKenna, Beatrice Campbell, Tom Bonington, and Denise Gough. The film is directed by Greta Gerwig.
The premiere is scheduled for November 26, 2026, in cinemas, and the film will be available on Netflix starting December 25.
