New MIO: Memories in Orbit Trailer Showcases the Dangers of the Game World
The creators of Shady Part of Me from the French studio Douze Dixièmes have prepared a new trailer for their vibrant Metroidvania MIO: Memories in Orbit. The fresh video is dedicated to the dangers of the in-game world, including traps and deadly bosses that gamers will encounter during their playthrough.
The title tells the story of the nimble robot MIO, who awakens on a dying ark-ship. The once-thriving vessel has turned into plant-overgrown ruins, haunted by deranged machines. Now, MIO must restore its memory and uncover the reasons behind the unfolding nightmare.
In terms of gameplay, the developers offer classic genre elements, such as exploring sprawling locations, platforming, unlocking additional abilities, and so on. Another notable aspect of the project is its visual style with watercolor backgrounds.
MIO: Memories in Orbit will be released on January 20th for PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2 with full Russian localization. From launch, the game will be available via Game Pass subscription.
