Nacon argues the extra weeks will let teams tidy up projects and prepare stronger reveals (i.e., bug fixes, marketing tweaks, etc.), though some fans may read the delay as damage control.
To keep interest from evaporating, Nacon plans an information push around titles like GreedFall: The Dying World, Dragonkin: The Banished, and Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss — e.g., trailers, dev updates, patch notes, etc. Whether that will calm nerves or just buy breathing room remains to be seen.
