Edmund McMillen — one half of the team behind Mewgenics — jumped onto X for a short Q&A, his first since launch. It wasn’t a marathon interview; just a few notes that let fans know the project isn’t being abandoned.
The two-person team is still tuning the core systems and is working on two DLC packs. The first is meant to be compact but impactful: expect four classes (4), north of 300 new abilities (300+), plus miscellaneous additions; the second DLC is the bigger one, intended to add an entire fourth act. Devs also confirmed ongoing work on console builds and on localizations (incl. Russian), though no firm dates were offered — so, wait-and-see for now.
