Awesome animated trailer for Toxic Commando with voiceover by John Carpenter himself
Saber Interactive has presented an animated trailer for the cooperative shooter John Carpenter's Toxic Commando, made in the style of 1980s cartoons. The video, created by Gizmo Animation, captures the atmosphere of a buddy movie and over-the-top action.
John Carpenter himself, who co-authored the project, participated in voicing the trailer. The musical accompaniment — the original track "Tell Me When the World Stops Ending" by the synthwave group Gunship — emphasizes the game's nostalgic tone, which pays homage to classic sci-fi thrillers.
A demo of Toxic Commando is available on Steam until March 2. The full release will take place on March 12.
