According to insiders, Camouflaj, the developer of Batman: Arkham Shadow, has effectively stopped working on games after mass layoffs at Meta. Only a small technical team remained from the original team to support the equipment, and all projects, including a possible sequel, were canceled.
This happened as part of a large-scale restructuring of Meta's gaming division, during which three other studios involved in VR development were closed. Armature Studio, Sanzaru Games, and Twisted Pixel were also shut down. An exclusive VR project based on the Harry Potter universe, which was being developed by Skydance, was also canceled.
