Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP to Launch on Switch 2 in Late May
Just a couple of days ago, it became known that the release of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP for Switch 2 had been postponed indefinitely. Surprisingly, the wait for a new release date announcement wasn't long at all — the version for the hybrid console will launch in late May.
To recap, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is a vibrant action game about a cheerleader who hacks through hordes of zombies with a chainsaw and carries her boyfriend's severed head on her belt. Players can expect lively gameplay and an abundance of the black humor characteristic of almost all of Goichi Suda's games.
The action game originally launched on PS3 and Xbox 360 way back in 2012. The remaster has been available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch since 2024. Its sales, as of August last year, had exceeded 300,000 copies.
Furthermore, in July 2025, an announcement was made regarding a new game in the series, as well as an anime adaptation.
