Larian has released a major update for the console version of Baldur's Gate 3 After a short break for the holiday season, Larian Studios has returned to actively updating the console version of Baldur's Gate 3.

The developers have introduced an impressive package of innovations, including 20 content elements — from serious gameplay mechanics to unexpected and amusing options.

One of the most notable additions is the new Ironhead Grenadier class for gnomes. This specialization allows players to focus on explosives and bomb making, opening up new tactical possibilities in combat.

For fans of the Paladin class, there are two new subclasses: Phoenix Oath, focused on fire magic, and Divine Storm Oath, focused on lightning magic. These additions significantly expand the character customization options and gameplay variability.

The "Lone Wolf" mode deserves special attention, adding a whole set of passive bonuses. With it, the character receives an additional action charge, a 30% increase in health points, a 50% increase in carrying capacity, as well as a +1d4 bonus to all d20 rolls and more frequent use of weapon attacks.

Among the unexpected new features is the ability to turn any character into a car thanks to the "Wild Shape: Vehicle" mechanic. Although the reason for this unusual option remains a mystery, it is sure to make players smile and add an element of fun to the gameplay.

Fans of cosmetic changes will appreciate the Winter Wonderland pack, which includes 12 new winter-themed armor sets, as well as a variety of accessories: hats, gloves, boots, raincoats, and dyes.

The update also brought many other interesting additions. Players can now enjoy interactive scenes in "Book Club with Gail," where the character responds in more than 50 different ways. There is also a special meme version of the club, where Gail responds only with the most memorable phrases.

Some innovations simplify the gameplay: the "Talk to the Dead" spell can now be used without restrictions, and the "Auto Digger" automatically finds buried treasures without the need to use a shovel. The "Bath Before Bed" feature allows you to clean the entire group and camp at the end of the day.
