Kawabanga: VR action TMNT: Empire City has received a demo version
Cortopia Studios has thrown open the lair's hatch — a demo of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City is live on Steam. This one’s notable: the first TMNT title made just for VR. Strap on a headset, run through training, poke around the four's hideout — it’s surprisingly cozy, esp. if you remember the cartoons. The full game is slated for spring 2026 on PC.
It plays as cooperative, first-person action: each participant assumes one of the brothers — Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, or Raphael — and teamwork actually matters. The story takes place in New York after Shredder’s fall; the power vacuum draws the Foot Clan back into the streets, and the turtles set out to push them back. Expect close combat, some techy gadget moments (Donatello, e.g., gets busy), and yes — plenty of pizza pauses.
