"Japan Will Fall" and Shadow of the Road to Release on Steam, EGS, and GOG in 2026
Another Angle Games and Owlcat Games announced the CRPG Shadow of the Road a year and a half ago and only now have provided a release window, albeit a very rough one—2026. The role-playing game will appear on Steam, Epic Game Store, and GOG.
Ronin Satoru and Akira are protecting a boy overflowing with untamed magic while steampunk Japan is torn by civil war: the year is 1898, and supporters of Shogun Tokugawa and Emperor Mutsuhito clash to determine the country's future. The new order is also supported by the Western East Nippon Company, which is the focus of a short trailer.
