James Gunn Posts Photo with Cookies, Hinting at Martian Manhunter in 'Superman: Legacy'
James Gunn shared three photos on X, transparently hinting at the imminent debut of another famous character in his DC cinematic universe — J'onn J'onzz, aka Martian Manhunter.
The photos show an office where a marketing campaign for Chocos cookies is being discussed, and it's on this very packaging that the superhero, capable of matching strength with the Man of Steel himself, is sitting. Superman will have to team up with Lex Luthor against Brainiac, so some extra alien assistance won't go amiss.
Filming for 'Superman: Legacy' is scheduled for April 2026, but set construction, naturally, has begun early. Fans will see the film on July 9, 2027.
