Industry Veteran American McGee Returns to Game Development — He's Working on a Project for His Business

One of the creators of Doom and Quake, as well as the author of American McGeeʼs Alice and Alice: Madness Returns, American McGee has returned to work in the gaming industry.
After EA's decision to refuse funding for the Alice trilogy in 2023, McGee announced a suspension of activities. But now, it's Plushie Dreadfuls in "Wonderland." This is a brand of plush toys owned by the McGee family. One of the models is made as a nod to the Alice game series.
The experienced developer shared that he has already finished an introduction that does not violate copyright but perfectly captures the atmosphere of the Alice series. He has also already assembled a team that will allow him to create a demo version. However, it is still unknown when it will become available.
McGee added that special thanks for his return should be expressed to Japanese fans, who provided very active support.
