The developers of Active Matter are rolling out a new weapons batch that changes how some encounters play out. It’s not just a tweak — several classes get touched, from compact SMGs to long-range sniper pieces.

Close-quarters players will spot new SMGs. The "Cheetah" brings a roomy 40-rnd mag. and has already turned up among the turned on Dalny Island (yes, you can loot it there). The PP-2000 appears with a Picatinny rail — so optics are an option — and raids sometimes yield extended 44-rnd mags.

On the long end there are two sniper additions: the VSSK "Vyhlop" and the M24. The Vyhlop ships with a silencer and runs subsonic rounds, which means quiet, punchy shots but also a forced reload after each shot — slo-mo, deliberate firing. The M24 will get standard bipods to steady those aimed shots.

If suppression is your thing, the EV-MG arrives with a long rail for mounting a variety of sights (think sustained fire, more customization). And for sudden close fights, the Stechkin automatic pistol shows up — burst-capable, compact, and messy in the best way.

Almost every weapon can take a laser designator in different colors now. These help hip-fire aiming, but be warned: in dark areas a visible laser can out you to others, adding a layer of tactical risk that isn’t always worth the convenience.
